It’s a proud pink tradition. We invite you to join us at the 19th Annual American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in New Orleans at Champions Square on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Thousands of local breast cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, corporate and community members unite to help finish the fight against breast cancer at this noncompetitive 5K walk. Making Strides is an inspirational event to raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer and provide hope to all people touched by the disease. Participants fundraise and walk to create a world free from the pain and suffering caused by breast cancer.

Last year, Making Strides of New Orleans welcomed more than 6,500 passionate participants who raised over $250,000 in the fight against breast cancer. Dollars raised by Making Strides supporters help the American Cancer Society ensure no one faces breast cancer alone by funding innovative breast cancer research, promoting education and risk reduction, and providing comprehensive patient support to those who need it most.
